Amy

Amy

Amy applied for her first passport at the age of 3 months for her international adoption and was so thrilled over the quiet, compartmental efficiency of airplane food, she hasn’t turned back since. At the age of 16, she went to Spain for an intensive Spanish study and was terrorized by cruel HS girls, purchased a red bikini, and met her first French boy. Amy studied theatre, English literature, and photography at Hofstra University in the pursuit of the the ultimate trifecta of useless degrees. Upon graduation, she has lived, worked, and traveled in England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Senegal, Gambia, Argentina, Uruguay, China, Sweden, and South Korea. Amy also dabbled in the terrifying world of national tour company management where she toured 26 US states and ate some of the most delicious and unhealthy food she’s ever had. She’s currently teaching English to South Korean children and undoubtedly offending fellow subway riders on a constant basis. Amy met Lynn in 2006 during their time doing BUNAC in London and she found their height difference to be so humorous that they just had to be friends and do things together.

Lynn

Lynn

Lynn can trace her obsession with travel planning back to her mother, who used to send away for tourist information 2 years in advance of each family vacation. Her first big trip: travelling solo to England at age 18, financed by a summer selling dogfood. Since then, she’s travelled around Europe (favorites: Norway, Portugal, and Croatia) and to Japan, Chile, and Costa Rica in search of exotic things to hit her head on. After a misspent year studying computer science, Lynn got her degree in cinema studies at the University of Washington, which she abbreviates as “unemployable” on her resume. Despite this, she’s managed to hold down work in England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, and her hometown of Seattle. Lynn currently lives and works in Melbourne, Australia, and does not tire of reminding you she can see the future!
